A fantastic experience – Laurus is the best! We took the Best of China tour, and it was simply one of the best travel experiences we have ever had. The company’s philosophy is to avoid touristy areas – so you are staying in extremely nice hotels located in areas where local people live, shop and eat. They take you to restaurants where locals eat, and have great recommendations for those meals where you are on your own. And the itinerary was fantastic – I really wanted to see the Terracotta Warriors and the Li Jiang in Guilin and this was the only tour I found that had both on the itinerary. Heather at the home office in Vancouver was incredibly responsive, helpful and accommodating throughout our planning process. I would travel with Laurus again and highly recommend them to anyone! |
